This studio / home office is my happy place - It's such a bright and warm room and I swear the hours just melt away in here - which is a really good thing when you're working. I am so happy that when we moved recently we found a place with a spare bedroom to turn into my studio. I strongly recommend trying to choose a room with lots of natural light if you are taking photos in this space often like I do.
This is where I do all my DIY's so I needed a nice big desk to allow for lots of working space. I choose white because Hello.. Nice and bright! But it's also handy as a large backdrop for a lot of my blog post. I have left the wall above the desk empty for now but I have plans to start taping up a mood board with whatever I am finding inspiring at the moment.
So about this mid century chair - my husband called me up and was like "Babe, I found a gift for you on the side of the road" - he really is a man after my own heart! However, I have been so lazy about getting it measured for new cushions but I think I might finally get around to it this weekend. Is this a post you guys would like to see? Maybe a mid century reupholstering how to/ DIY?
Honestly, that IKEA Kallax shelving is never that tidy, I keep all my props and half finished DIY shoved in those little cubbies but Abe never seems to mind it ;)
