Here is a little glimpse into our 4 year anniversary trip to Melbourne - in no particular order I'll walk you through some of the must see's and do's of this gorgeous city. We stayed at the chicest little boutique hotel, the Coppersmith. We arrived to champagne on ice and enjoyed the hotel life with room service and bathrobes every morning (if only this happened at home).
First things first - Coffee. If you are looking for good coffee with a gorgeous interior then No. 19 Cafe is a must - sadly we didn't actually make it to this one but it is on our must try list for next time.
My favourite was Penny Drop. I mean just look at this place below... DROOL.
Nates favourite coffee shop was Patricia Coffee which is in the CBD.
The last coffee shop I was schlepped to (I know, I know, a 4th?! but if you knew my husband then you'd know he was a kid in a candy store with all the great coffee in Melbourne) was Dukes which is also tucked away in the CBD.
While we were out looking for a lunch spot in the CBD - we found the mega glamorous "The Press Club", this place just oozes luxury. We reccomend the 4 course lunch.
But lets move on to more important things - like mexican food things. If you're still in the CBD then Mamasita is an absolute must. Hotel Jesus (Collingwood) was another great place with such a fun atmosphere and really instagrammable dishes. Not up for more mexican, have no fears because Smith street in Collingwood is loaded with other great restaurants and shops.
By now you're feet will be sore from all the walking and tram hopping so treat yourself to a little R&R at A Little Company, such a beautiful place to rejuvenate your skin with ethically made products.
Sunday we tried to squeeze in one last stop before we left for the airport and that meant a late lunch at the Middletown Cafe in Prahran. Nate loved this place he was like "Babe I am loving the dark blue and gold combo - it's really speaking to me" Bahaha! He said this at a home decor store too - bless his heart, I love him.
Happy 4 Years to this handsome man! Hope you guys can make it to Melbourne someday and please comment below with some of your favourite spots too!
