This DIY came out of wanting to jazz up some silver steak knives I had so they would match the rest of my cutlery set. It's such an inexpensive way to add a little something to your dinner table or impress company when they are over for a meal. Who says cutlery has to be boring and silver. I found my cutlery at a yard sale and SO many people have admired it.
The directions are pretty self explanatory.. tape off what you don't want painted. I did basic painting with the handles but you could get super creative here and do stripes, zig zags or polka dots! Remember not to paint the part of the cutlery that you eat off of unless you've bought safe paint/or a special sealant coat for over top.
Side note // Cassie bought these knives for me and for the first 3 months in our apartment these were the only set of knives we had!! This proves how little we cook at home!
Make sure you share your DIY set with us! I am hoping to come across some neon pink forks or something fun!
