Tutorial // Loose Side Braid

Alexandria Mavis

Loose Side Braid // From Gold Blog

1 // Make sure your hair is brushed and put to the side you where you have more hair on your part.

2 // Divide your hair near the top of your part into three sections. Start sweeping the right piece into the middle. Now, add hair from the other side of your head and add it to the new most right piece.

3 // Continue this pattern until you reach the end of the side french braid. Braid the rest of your hair down.

4 // Use a matching elastic to tie the end! We love to use pieces from the bottom of the hair to wrap around and bobby pin it around.

5 // Pull the pieces of the braid out to make them bigger and flat. We had to pull out more than we thought! Don't be shy when making the braid thicker for your perfect look! Also try back combing piece of your braid.

6 // Pull out any pieces to frame your face if you like.

Now go out and rock this braid! And don't forget to smile (unlike me who had my concentration face on! Ha!). What are some of your favourite braids? What are other hair tutorials you'd like to see?
