Waffle Party

Alexandria Mavis

Last Saturday we woke up to pouring rain and chilly temps and decided to stay in our PJ's and make waffles for breakfast.. and it sort of turned into a waffle party!

First you'll want to preheat your waffle iron. Beat 2 eggs in large bowl with a beater until fluffy. Then beat in 2 cups of flour, 1 & 3/4 cups of milk, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, 1 Tbsp of sugar, 4 Tsp of baking powder, 1/4 Tsp of salt and 1/2 Tsp of vanilla until smooth.

Then spray your preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron and cook until the a perfectly golden brown.

At this point you've got three delicious options! First is the "Dessert for Breakfast" option. We made some with Cookies & Cream ice cream and chocolate fudge. Sooooo good!

This one is the "Norwegian Way" with your favorite jam and cream.

And lastly the "Classic" but still as equally delicious.

Even with all those options I ended up making an ice cream sandwich!

Now serve em HOT and enjoy!
