Cassandra's brother is in town for a visit so a group of us headed down south about an hour to Byron Bay New South Whales. It is a great place for a day trip for lunch, shops and of course the light house.

We started the day with lunch and coffee at one of our favourites, Byron Fresh Cafe. It's only about a one minute walk from the beach.

After lunch and great chats we hiked up to the light house to enjoy the view even on this dreary day.

After what little sun we had went down we headed back into town for some dinner at O-Sushi to finish off what was such a lovely day. If you ever make it to the Gold Coast you MUST make the trip down to Byron Bay... You won't regret it!
